Founder’s Statement
Unity Health Coaching was founded to help organizations facing immediate pressure to improve maternal and infant outcomes move from strategy to documented performance improvement—especially for multicultural populations disproportionately impacted by adverse birth outcomes.
I am a registered nurse, public health professional, and maternal health strategist with deep expertise in maternal and infant health, family planning, Healthy Start initiatives, multicultural health, leadership development, and program implementation. My work is grounded in public health systems leadership and driven by a clear objective: measurable improvement in maternal and infant health outcomes under real-world Medicaid accountability.
As a Public health Maternal Program Manager, I led and implemented initiatives that produced tangible results. Under my leadership:
These outcomes were achieved by aligning clinical standards, community-based strategies, and culturally responsive engagement—not by adding more programs, but by making existing systems work better.
I understand the pressure Medicaid plans and maternal health programs face: quality measures, performance reporting, persistent racial disparities, and the demand to demonstrate improvement now—not eventually. Too often, organizations struggle not because of lack of commitment, but because policy goals and funding priorities fail to translate into effective implementation on the ground.
Unity Health Coaching exists to close that gap.
Our work is nurse-led, public-health-informed, and implementation-driven. We partner with Medicaid managed care organizations, health systems, Healthy Start coalitions, and public health programs to operationalize maternal and infant health priorities—moving teams from planning to action and delivering measurable improvement within 90 days and beyond.
What sets our work apart is the ability to speak both clinical and community language, quickly build trust with multicultural populations, and guide multidisciplinary teams toward execution with accountability. This work is personal to me. I understand—professionally and personally—what is at stake when systems fail to support mothers and families during their most vulnerable moments.
At the core of Unity Health Coaching is a commitment to maternal health equity, accountable leadership, and sustainable program design. We help organizations move beyond compliance toward intentional, culturally responsive strategies that produce real outcomes—for mothers, infants, and the systems responsible for their care.
Let’s discuss how we can support your maternal health priorities with nurse-led, performance-driven solutions.
